WHITE SQUARE GALLERY
A MODERNIST GAME
Imaging that you stand in an independent cube without the roof to cover the colorful sky.
When I first imaged what kind of view this space was surrounded by, would it be a vista of vast field with a tall, lush sycamore standing there, enjoying the breeze and warm sunshine? Or locating in a hill above the coastline, facing the ocean spread seemingly to infinity, the waves beat the coast again and again?
No matter where that is located exactly, , no beauty is wasted there. Since none of the four corners were blocked, you can stand each corner looking at different landscapes.
I created this cube as a site of exhibition or just as a resting place for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. Entering from the entrance at the bottom of the north. At first, you will see a cylinder serves as a sign to guide you through the second door.
Then, looking at your left, you can see five square columns that are neatly arranged. If you move forward, you can already see the western landscape. Turn left, the view of the southwestern will attracts you though the long corridor. But you will find there is a winder view of the landscape behind of five tall and thin posts. Although you cannot go though them, you can go the passage next and though one of two doors. Eventually, you can totally see whole the vista which stretch for miles.
